i found a lump/

weird spot in late november 2006. saw my oncologist who could not feel it. saw my oncologist in late january 2007. forgot to remind him about the lump. saw my gynecologist at the end of january/early february 2007. remembered lump. she felt it. had an ultrasound on valentine's day. thought everything was okay. referred to a surgeon the next day. shit. i saw a surgeon yesterday. i have to get another mammogram on friday and an mri on tuesday. i'm freaking out because mastectomy was talked about repeatedly. plus i have to wait for these tests before i can go back and get the actual biopsy which will ultimately prove whether or not it is cancer, just suspicious, or nothing to worry about. that won't be until mid march. :(
